Hi there! My name is something as typically Swedish as Ingrid, and I was born in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, right in the heart of our beautiful capital. For many years, I’ve been teaching Swedish in elementary schools in Stockholm. I’m also a certified writing coach and organize courses in various types of writing. As a global citizen, I’ve lived and worked in many countries, and I love getting to know people from different cultures and backgrounds. If you want to improve your Swedish in conversation and writing, I’d be happy to be your teacher!

Since the late 1990s, I’ve worked as a substitute Swedish teacher in primary and secondary schools. I’m also a certified writing coach and have been organizing writing courses and mentoring individual students in writing since 2015.

You’re warmly welcome to book a trial lesson with me where we can discuss your goals and how we can work together to achieve them. I’m an engaged, enthusiastic, and creative tutor who believes that learning a new language should be fun, motivating, and enjoyable. In my classes, we can, for example, watch movies together, read texts, discuss interesting topics, talk about Swedish culture and lifestyle - all tailored to your individual level.
