    1. Answer all questions: There are 36 single-select questions in total
    2. Be honest: To get the most out of the test, make sure your answers are real. If you don’t know the answer, select “I don’t know”. No one is judging you!
    3. Be conscious of time: While you’re not limited in time, try not to overthink each answer. This will help you get a more precise result
    4. Read questions carefully: Don’t rush when you read the questions and make sure you understand them before answering
    5. Check your results: After the test, you’ll get an approximate evaluation of your current level

    What English levels are there?

    Our English placement test evaluation method is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This means that your result will fit into one of the following 7 grades recognized worldwide.

    LearnZone’s free English placement test is a test you can take to find out your current level of English. Like most free placement tests, it doesn’t provide a certification, but if you’re learning or starting to learn English, taking a placement test is very important to help you understand your level, set your goals and learn English more effectively. The test is easy and usually takes around 20 minutes to complete. You will be tested on your grammar skills.
    LearnZone’s English Placement test uses the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) to assess your level. The CEFR has seven different levels, which will determine your result. After taking the test, you will achieve one of the seven from the beginner level of English (A0), to the most advanced level of English (C2). You can use your result to learn about your strengths in English and focus on your areas of improvement.
    There are different tests that you can take to find out how you are doing in English. If you are looking to find out what your English level is, then we recommend you take LearnZone’s English proficiency test. Here you will be suggested one of seven courses based on the CEFR that will give you a good sense of your proficiency in English.
