About me

Hello!

My name is Robert, I'm from Sweden, Värmdö. I like the outdoors, politics, history, music and fantasygames.

I've been giving both individual and group lessons since 2019, online and face-to-face.

I've taught over hundred persons to speak Swedish through focusing on exactly that, speaking. We will create a vocabulary for you and make you comfortable to use it using great material which is based on the theory "that when you know the one thousand most commonly used words in a language then you can speak it" or at least keep learning it using your hands and legs.

Good personality. He can build your confidence by speaking but has a habit of not correcting you nearly enough when you make mistakes. I recommend him if you want to get conversational up to around B1-B2

My specialties

Swedish for beginners

The easiest students to work with are those who can't speak a word of Swedish and have a wish to learn. I'll give a great base knowledge and all the tools for you to continue on your own in real life and use your skills practically.

Conversational Swedish

This depends a lot on the learner, sometimes I've worked with immigrants who have been in Sweden for a long time but learnt things wrong, because nobody will correct everything and everybody out in society.Although when the will is there, with small efforts you can make huge improvements.If the learner already have a good grammatical foundation and a vocabulary, then the best way is to speak with native Swedes to improve your language skills.

Business Swedish

The way people speak in business is no where close to the textbook. There is for example grammatically possible to ad an "A" to a substantive and then it becomes a verb in Swedish, for example "Boll" meaning "Ball" to if a Swede would say "Bolla" it would mean "To ball" the meaning of this in the right context means like "brainstorm" or something like "share ideas" and I've very acquainted with these nuances of Swedish.
