About me

I am native swedish speaking and can teach you a basic swedish, conversational swedish and more for students that have already a certain knowledge in swedish.

If you have french as a native language I can also help you in french as I am fluent after 15 years in France. My english is also fluent after many years outside Sweden and married to an english speaking husband.

I have been teaching swedish online for over 4 years and I mix grammar with conversations, reading and listening and a lot of laughters.

Karin explains a lot of swedish grammar in english so that I can understand concepts quickly. Then when I speak swedish she corrects it and writes the correction in the chat box for me to look over later. I find this is a good way for me to learn.

Great tutor! My Boyfriend who is Swedish is very pleased with how quickly I’m progressing due to Karin’s method of teaching. My pronunciation has also improved greatly. I meant to give her all 5 stars for my lesson but one was mistakenly input as 4. As mentioned by another student, when a new word or concept is introduced Karin always writes in the chat so I can remember it and yo practice. I also value the links that she has provided which aids in my study of the language. I also enjoy the fact that she provides some cultural or folkloric background of the word or phrase as appropriate. Thank you, Karin.
