About me
Translated
Hello!
I was born in Korea. Korean is the language I feel most comfortable using.
I was really interested in math. I didn’t like memorizing English words, which is why I wasn’t good at English.
But I excelled in math, and I managed to get into Hanyang University, a prestigious school in Korea, by overcoming tough competition.
I was a physics major, and most of the textbooks we used in school were in English.
That made me realize how important it was to study English, but I still didn’t like it.
Then, I ended up living in Australia for four months. At that time, my English had a lot of grammatical mistakes, but I could hold a conversation to some extent.
I had the experience of chatting freely with foreigners, and it gave me a strong and wonderful feeling.
Now, I’m tutoring math in Korea, so I’m quite familiar with teaching students.
As I met more foreigners, my desire to connect with them grew, which led me to decide to teach Korean.
I’m not a language major, but I do teach math as my profession, so I have my own teaching experiences.
I’m used to explaining things and helping students.
I’m really looking forward to meeting you and teaching you Korean. I want to teach you diligently while having fun conversations.
I believe that the fastest way to learn a language is through lots of conversation.
For beginners, there’s no need to worry too much about grammar from the start. If we have fun conversations, your skills will improve naturally.
As a teacher of Korean, I can correct any awkward expressions you might use. I can also point out the good parts when you improve.
I’ll work hard to ensure you gain a lot from our lessons.
I’m currently tutoring math in Korea, so I have experience teaching students.
Every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my explanations to match their level.
I prefer a relaxed atmosphere in my classes, helping students feel comfortable to ask questions.
I want to create a similar environment in my Korean classes. I’ll explain things slowly and in simple terms.
At first, we’ll focus more on conversation than grammar. I’ll help you learn naturally by speaking a lot.
During our lessons, I can correct any awkward expressions right away and teach you new ones too.
I want to help you build confidence and create enjoyable and comfortable classes.
I’m teaching math in Korea, so I’m used to working with students.
In class, I can correct awkward expressions immediately and teach you more natural ones.
I can also introduce you to new vocabulary.
Even among people who speak the same Korean language, the words and expressions can vary slightly from person to person. The intonation can also differ a bit.
I’m from Busan, and I’ve lived in Seoul, so in my classes, you can learn about these differences too. I find this aspect interesting and appealing.
My English isn’t perfect in terms of grammar, but I can communicate to some extent.
I enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in my classes, and I’ll help students feel comfortable to speak.
I’m a great match for those who want to learn Korean slowly, easily, and enjoyably.
