Hey there! I'm Eva, a native Swede from a medium-sized town two hours away from Stockholm. I've always been passionate about languages, travel, and different cultures, and I want to share that with you. It's all about enriching ourselves with new knowledge.

I have experience teaching Swedish as a first language at an international school in Southeast Asia. My students were in the equivalent of elementary and middle school. Besides learning Swedish in speaking and writing, we also included reading books and exploring Swedish holidays, seasons, and culture.

Learning Swedish with me will be an exciting journey! Together, we'll dive into the language, culture, and traditions. I can't wait to share my passion for Swedish with you and make learning inspiring and rewarding!

I am loving my lessons with Eva and feel safe to make mistakes and build confidence to speak. Eva is very supportive of my attempts to hold a conversation in Swedish and we have lovely chats about everyday things in addition to moving my language skills on. I am aware that I often don't make sense but Eva understands me and supports with corrections in the chat so that the conversation flows. I would absolutely recommend Eva as a tutor.

She is a perfect tutor! Helpful, supportive, and always positive. It is really enjoyable to talk with her, and time passes so quickly that I hardly notice it. Even though I only have one hour of lessons per week, I can feel that I am improving. She always manages to find topics that I enjoy talking about. Tack så mycket Eva! :)

Eva is a well-prepared teacher with a clear and thoughtful approach to her lessons. After just one session, she had a very good sense of what I could do and couldn't do. We are now working together to bring back my Swedish, which I hadn't used in a long time. She adapts the lessons to my needs and she's also a very warm and kind person. I really enjoy learning with her.

Eva Marie is so friendly and helpful, and patient as I struggle to think of the Swedish words. We laugh a lot as I try and the lessons are relaxed and fun. She is great!

I always look forward to the Swedish lessons. Eva knows how to make the lessons exciting. The 50 minutes go by way too quickly each time.
