Hi there! My name is Amanda, and I’m a native Swedish speaker. I’m passionate about languages, communication, and helping others feel confident in expressing themselves.

I hold a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from Lund University and speak fluent English.

I’ve gathered valuable teaching experience in various contexts – for instance, I taught English during a project in China, and as a certified PADI Divemaster, I’ve guided students through Open Water diving courses – always with patience, clarity, and encouragement.

I’ve also taken a university course in rhetoric, which has enhanced my ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Outside of work, I love to travel and enjoy everything related to nature and adventure. I’ve also worked in the service industry and enjoy meeting people from all over the world.

My goal is to create a relaxed and motivating environment where you feel safe to learn and ask questions.

I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals in a fun and personal way! I’m happy to assist you in improving your Swedish, whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your understanding of grammar, pronunciation, or conversation.

I have experience teaching in both formal and informal settings. I volunteered teaching English in China, where I worked with children and supported their learning through fun and engaging activities.

As a certified PADI Divemaster, I’ve also guided students through Open Water diving courses – helping them stay calm, understand complex instructions, and gradually build their confidence.

Additionally, I’ve taken a university course in rhetoric, which has strengthened my ability to communicate and explain language in a clear and structured way.

I also have extensive experience using Swedish in academic contexts, as I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Lund University.

Writing essays, research reports, and formal texts in Swedish has given me a deep understanding of grammar, structure, and formal language use.

My aim is to create engaging, supportive, and personalized lessons that help students build confidence and find joy in learning Swedish.
