Hi, I'm Merve. I'm 27 years old and from Ankara. I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Turkish Language and Literature at Hacı Bayram Veli University in Ankara. I hold a certificate in teaching Turkish to foreigners and have been teaching Turkish since 2019. I've worked as a Turkish teacher at the Yunus Emre Institute and at Public Education Centers under the Ministry of National Education. Teaching Turkish is a great passion of mine. In my classes, speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills are extremely important. I place a strong emphasis on reinforcing learned information through videos and music in my lessons.

With 5 years of experience in teaching Turkish, I specialize in the Turkish language and am pursuing my doctorate. I have a certificate in teaching Turkish to foreigners and prioritize speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills in my lessons. I conduct speaking practices both interactively and individually during class time. For reading skills, I prepare reading texts suitable for each student's level, expecting their reading speed to improve day by day, and we practice together. Gaining writing skills can take some time, especially since writing vowel sounds can lead to mistakes. Therefore, I track the student's progress through assigned homework and provide feedback and corrections where necessary to support their development. I support listening skills with videos and music in my lessons, which provides a great reinforcement of the topic learned in class.

Turkish is a fascinating language. I contribute to making these interesting aspects more enjoyable by enhancing the four fundamental skills of language learning.
