Hello you, allow me to introduce myself. I go by two official names, my birth name: Hannah, and my artistic name: Mofuta.

I’m a professional working visual artist, a mother and a friend.

Currently located in Barcelona, Spain. Born in 1988 in Ukrain and immigrated to Israel in 1989 .

In 2009 completed my BFA studies (specializing in graphic design) in Chicago, at the Art Institute of Illinois.

In 2018 I completed my MFA studies (in Artistic Productions & Research), at the University of Barcelona.

“MOFUTA studio gallery”, is a humble space I’ve opened in 2016, with my relocation to Barcelona. It's a multi-functional space that serves as my studio and exhibition space.

Through the years I utilised my artistic knowledge and performative skills at different creative ambients.

My experience includes artistic workshops and artist talks. Group classes as well as personal tutoring and artistic development. As someone who enjoys walking, I also provide unique Art guide in Barcelona on the subjects of architecture, art galleries and street art. My artistic works have been shown in individual and group exhibitions in Europe and Israel as well as on global online platforms.

Learning to live through art:

The interdisciplinary approach combined with the basics of art, research and practice, develops self-expression and creative thinking.The classes are based on two-way learning: practical creation, and interpretive discussion of the work. In other words: theory and practice. These two elements complement each other while relying on diverse sources of inspiration and knowledge adapted to the needs of the students.

If you feel that you do not have an artistic foundation, we will start the learning process with the elements of art- which are the "language" of art that allows us to understand, explain and describe art. For the more advanced students, the classes are focused on the needs and objectives. Whether it is developing or searching for an idea (what is an idea?), or improving certain abilities or techniques. Whether it's building a portfolio, or discussing why people do this thing called “art”.

Visual art education allows us to learn, understand and analyse cultural trends that appear all around us, both online and in public spaces. Thus, students can transform from passive consumers to active individuals, who have the ability to judge the visual representations to which they are exposed.
