About me

Hello everyone! I'm Ilias, I'm 34 years old

and I come from Italy. I have a Master in Illustration and in the last 4 years I have worked as a Concept artist creating different projects from illustration to graphic design. I will help you improve your technique and your creative process with personalized lessons based on your style and the goals you want to achieve. I can teach you from the basics of drawing and painting

to a more advanced level. Please, don't hesitate to ask me questions if you have any. I'm looking forward to meeting you, ciao :)

Since I started teaching here, I have met children and adults of all ages from all over the world, willing to enter the art world or to improve their artistic skills.

My method is mainly based on an in-depth observation of reference photos that are used to copy or take inspiration to create new images according to the style and skills of the student, thus combining observation and the creative part.

I teach both realistic and stylized drawing, integrating notions of illustration and graphic layout. My lessons are mainly based on drawing, supplemented by the use of traditional techniques such as watercolor and acrylic. I also teach graphics, digital coloring and graphics fundamentals with the use of programs such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. I'm also available for video editing lessons, supplemented with Storyboard creation, storytelling concepts, using the Adobe Premiere program.

This method I use is modeled on the skills and needs of the student, so every lesson, while following this method, will be 100% personalized and fun :)

Designing and creating Art does not mean arriving at the destination, but living a journey that brings self-confidence and inner well-being. I will help you transform your flaws into your personal style, guiding you towards the improvement of your artistic skills to develop your ideas (on paper or screen) ever closer to how you imagine them.

In these times being technically perfect is important but what matters most in a good work of art is to convey an emotion, whether it is designed perfectly or not.

Ilias is a wonderful and patient art teacher. He is perfect for my 10-year-old son who loves learning from him and looks forward to his lessons. Ilias is an extremely talented artist who is not only able to impress but more importantly empower his students. My son is learning a lot and has become a better and a more confident artist under Ilias's tutelage. He is also able to match my son's pace and his desire to try and improve various aspects of his art, be it drawing realism, create cartoon characters, and now try watercolor. I would highly recommend Ilias to anyone who wants to learn from scratch or improve their art!

Ilias is a great tutor, very friendly and my children love to spend some time drawing with him. Ilias has a very relaxing approach which put you immediately at ease. I would definitely suggest him.

Illias is a very friendly, patient and kind tutor. He is currently teaching my 9 year old son and my son loves his sessions! Also he is a very creative and knowledgable person with regard to art and helps you to explore your creativity at your own pace while providing valuable technical inputs. My son finds his sessions very interesting. Will definitely recommend him if you are looking to enhance your artistic skills.

Ilias is more than an art teacher or artist. He is an absolute magician. My son and I have been spending time learning from Ilias for over a year now and we could not have found a better, more enjoyable, more engaging teacher to be inspired and encouraged to draw. Ilias has taught us to draw with pencil, then to give up our pencils and try acrylic, charcoal and watercolors. Everything we work on starts as an adventure and before we know it, we have created something beyond our ability. The time with Ilias disappears and we look forward to our next class. Book a time with Ilias and you will be amazed to have him!
