Hello! I'm Hunkyoung, your Korean tutor.

I live in Korea and have a great passion for sharing Korean culture and language.

I started teaching Korean to foreign friends and native professors back in college, and that sparked my desire to study Korean teaching more professionally. In 2016, I earned my "Level 2 Korean Language Teacher Certification."

I'm also very interested in languages and cultures from other countries, and through my travels and experiences living abroad, I've discovered the joy of communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.

I spent a year as an exchange student in Canada and lived in the Philippines for about three years while attending graduate school.

I want to share the experiences and joys I've gained from my various overseas adventures and interactions with people from different countries with all of you.

My hobbies include traveling, listening to music, watching movies, and dancing.

I've worked as an English teacher for 20 years, teaching students of all ages—from preschoolers to adults—using a variety of levels and materials.

Starting from helping native professors in college, I also taught Korean to my fellow teachers at an English academy.

After obtaining my Level 2 Korean Language Teacher Certification, I began teaching Korean more seriously, conducting group classes and one-on-one lessons both in-person and online at "Culture Communication (Culcom)" for about three years.

I understand the differences between English and Korean well, so I can teach grammar, expressions, and vocabulary in a way that’s easier to grasp.

I can provide a variety of expressions that are commonly used in real life, tailored to your level and goals, alongside the grammar found in educational materials.
