Hello, I’m Jumi, a Korean tutor. I have over 8 years of experience in language teaching, and I have taught a wide range of students, from elementary school children to adults, in academy settings. I also have experience teaching Korean pronunciation and basic expressions to international students for about 6 months at a college in Australia.

My lessons focus on speaking practice and real conversation. My goal is to help students actually use Korean in real-life situations.

I can also teach and explain in English, so even complete beginners can start learning comfortably.

At a college in Australia, I taught Korean to international students, focusing on pronunciation and basic expressions. My lessons were centered on speaking practice, giving students many chances to speak and use Korean in real situations. Based on this experience, I believe that active speaking is the most important part of learning a language.

I am also a language learner who started studying a foreign language again from the basics as an adult. Because of this, I understand well where learners usually feel difficulties. I believe that the most important part of learning Korean is actually speaking and practicing it.

In my lessons, I create a comfortable environment where students can speak comfortably and practice as much as possible. I correct unnatural expressions and pronunciation right away, and we focus on expressions that real Korean people use in daily life. My goal is to help students speak Korean with more confidence step by step.
