About me
Hello, my name is Mary and I am from England. I currently live in Thailand, where I work as a full-time English teacher. I specialise in Phonics, Conversation, and Reading, and I teach students from Pre-School to M3 level (ages 2–15).
Before becoming a teacher, I had a background in law, which means I am familiar with legal and business terminology. I decided to change careers because I wanted to work with children and pursue my passion for teaching. I have seen first-hand how beneficial learning English can be, and I am dedicated to helping my students gain confidence and develop strong communication skills.
I have six months of teaching experience and completed two weeks of in-house training to equip me with the skills needed to teach Phonics, Conversational English, and Reading. I am committed to making English enjoyable and accessible for all learners. I continuously develop my teaching skills and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles and age groups.
In addition, I studied Law and worked at two law firms, where I regularly used formal and legal English in professional settings. This background has strengthened my understanding of advanced vocabulary, business communication, and precise language use.
