I am from South Korea. If you are looking for a tutor in Vienna to improve your Korean skills, I would be happy to help you. I am a kind and responsible teacher with many years of experience in teaching Korean literature, one of the main subjects in the Korean education system, to middle and high school students in Korea. My educational background as a graduate from Yonsei University, one of the top three universities in Korea, has prepared me to work very diligently and professionally. The lessons, tipically one hour long, are directed towards any age and can be held in either Korean or English. I have experience with working in an international environment so having conversations in English comes very natural to me. Depending on your preferences, To make sure you can reach your desired goals with the Korean language, I can customize the curriculum and intensity of the lessons specifically to your needs. I have many years of experience teaching Korean language and literature to middle and high school students in Korea, and I also volunteered teaching Korean to children of U.S. military personnel during my military service. In addition, I continue to provide regular offline Korean lessons.

I structure my lessons with a well-organized curriculum.

After discussing the student’s preferences, I coordinate my suggestions to create the most effective plan.

If I believe it’s important to strengthen fundamental skills such as grammar, listening, and reading, I use a textbook to build a solid foundation. If the student needs more practical speaking practice, I prepare a topic in advance and conduct Korean-Conversation sessions.

Conversation in Korean does not mean simply chatting. After the conversation, I share a document where I have written down the student’s grammar mistakes, pronunciation issues, and other points that came up during the session. We review and correct them together so the student can continually improve.

The third curriculum is designed for students who are preparing for, or planning to take, the TOPIK Korean exam. In this case, the lessons focus entirely on exam preparation.
