I was born and raised in Korea, but I’ve also studied English on my own and continue to learn French and a bit of Japanese. Because of this, I truly understand the challenges of learning a new language. I know how to guide you through them with the right explanations and support.

Beyond language learning, I have a wide range of interests including K-pop, dramas, films, music, and travel. That means lessons will never be boring we’ll always find engaging topics to talk about, and time will fly by!

I have worked with students of various ages, and throughout this journey, I’ve seen incredible growth—not only in my students, but also in myself as a teacher.

During my private tutoring with high school students, I went beyond simple problem-solving. Instead, I focused on helping them truly understand and apply the language on their own. As a result, they not only improved their grades but also gained the confidence to say, “English is actually fun!”

At an English camp, I worked with elementary and middle school students, providing opportunities to use English in natural, everyday situations. Rather than just memorizing sentences, students built their communication skills by talking with friends, joining activities, and experiencing English as a living language.

In a language academy, I guided high school students with the dual goal of achieving short-term academic results while also developing long-term study habits. This experience allowed me to learn and apply a variety of teaching methods, while strengthening my ability to design personalized lessons for each student.

Through these experiences, I’ve come to see myself not simply as a language instructor but as a learning partner who supports and guides each student’s unique journey. I look forward to working with students who are ready to grow together with me.
