About me

Hello, I am Emily, a New Zealander who is currently living in England. Alongside English teaching, I also work as a content writer. My interests include rock climbing, playing sports, and learning Spanish. Alongside my TEFL qualification, I also hold a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the University of Waikato.

I have a TEFL qualification and I tailor my lessons to suit the learning needs of each specific student. Whether you want to improve your English for general conversations, travelling or business, I can develop lessons that will support your learning needs. Many of my students are planning to live in New Zealand, so I often create lessons around Kiwi life, culture and slang for these students.

I’ve been studying English with Emily for 4 months. She’s a great teacher, our lessons are well organized, interesting and flow nicely, full of chatting and exercises. Emily builds the lessons based on my goals and always asks my feedback and finds out my needs for the future lessons. I feel that my progress is very important to her. Her English is natural and reach, but not difficult to understand. Moreover, she’s an incredibly nice personality. I definitely recommend everyone to learn with her.
