Hello one and all! Welcome to my Profile

Let me first start by introducing myself — I am Teacher Russell.

I am a Canadian-born, certified English teacher. I hold degrees (not just certificates) in TESL/TEFL. I have been fortunate enough to write my own English books, which follow simple and effective teaching methodologies, and have sold them to various schools in Mexico.

Having lived in Mexico for 15 years, I truly understand what it’s like to learn a second language — including all the stress and frustration that can come with it. I’m also very aware of the culture shock one experiences when arriving in a new country.

With me, you’ll find a well-trained teacher with over 20 years of experience in TESL/TEFL. I have also spent this time preparing students for evaluations such as the CELPIP, IELTS, and TOEFL.

When you enroll in my classes, you’ll be learning from a teacher who is well-versed in a wide range of teaching methodologies. I don’t rely on just one approach — I tailor the class based on your individual needs and level. In our first session, we will discuss your goals and develop a concrete, customized plan that will help you reach them efficiently.

I have never had a student come up short in any test or fall short of thier goals . I always am straight with students no hooks or gimmicks straight forward honesty to make sure you reach those goals.

Russell is calm and focused on role-play, so that speaking comes naturally instead of depending on and memorizing templates. He listens, analyzes, and points out the exact issue pulling you back and works on the improvement. I have improved a lot compared to day 1, all thanks to Russel for his continuous support.
