About me

Hello, my name is Kris Jane and I am a native Bisaya Cebuano speaker from Philippines. I hold a bachelor's degree at Western Mindanao State University with a degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education. I am a licensed professional teacher, and I also have TEFL certificate at Teacher Record. My background in teaching includes teaching in one of the private schools here in our country for more than 4 years. I also teach ACADSOC for 2 years. Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of working with students at various levels, with different nationalities of all ages helping them to achieve their academic goals and develop a lifelong love of learning. My teaching philosophy is student centered. I believe that every student has unique strengths and potential and my goal is to create a supportive, engaging and challenging environment where each of you can thrive. I love using a variety of materials and activities to keep things interesting. From videos and games to discussions and debates we'll find the methods that work best for you. To make our lessons exciting and relevant to the real world.

I really enjoy learning with Kris. Explanations are always very clear, which makes it much easier to understand and remember new vocabulary and expressions. The lessons also include many interesting insights about the culture, which makes learning Bisaya even more engaging and meaningful. The atmosphere in class is very friendly and relaxed, and I always feel comfortable speaking and asking questions. Her warm and approachable attitude makes every lesson enjoyable. I highly recommend these classes to anyone who wants to learn Bisaya in a supportive and motivating environment 😊
