I’m Merve — an instructor with over 10 years of experience in translation, writing, and publishing. I mainly produce professional content on cinema and literature. Thanks to this background, I don’t just teach grammar rules; I help you use natural, everyday expressions and experience the living side of the language.

I know English and Russian; however, the language of our lessons is always Turkish. I use other languages only as a tool to clarify logic differences when you get stuck.

My goal is for you to gain the confidence to think and speak in Turkish without needing another language — and at the same time develop strong listening familiarity.

I have taught hundreds of hours of lessons at every level from A1 to C2. We plan the process according to your goals:

Beginner Level (A1–A2):

We progress with structured resources to build the logic of the language. But don’t let this intimidate you; while establishing the foundations, we make the process enjoyable through games, short dialogues, and interactive materials.

Intermediate & Advanced Level (B1–C2):

As soon as you start forming sentences, structured resources move to the background. We focus entirely on practice using materials suited to your interests (cinema, culture, art, daily life, etc.) — such as videos, songs, and texts.

In our lessons, we put your interests at the center; this way, you’ll quickly notice that responding and forming sentences becomes easier.

In my lessons, you’ll find an enjoyable and safe environment where you won’t be afraid of making mistakes, communication comes first, and you won’t even notice how time passes.

My aim is not to trap you in grammar rules, but to help you use Turkish comfortably enough to express your own personality and thoughts.

We determine the study plan by analyzing your level and learning goals, and we shape the process accordingly throughout the journey. 🎯
