About me
Hi! My name is Astrid. I am a quiet and friendly Italian girl. I have a master's degree in European and Extra-European Languages and Literature at the University of Milan, where I focused my thesis on the translation of a contemporary Spanish play into Italian.
I love travelling and discovering new cultures, which is why I currently live in Spain. During my studies, I taught English and Spanish to middle and high school students. After graduating, I did an internship at a language academy in Salamanca, Spain. There, I taught Italian to groups of adults of different levels (from A1 to C2), both online and face-to-face. I enjoy teaching students of all ages: children, teenagers and adults.
During our lessons, you will learn new vocabulary, reinforce your grammar and improve your communication skills, both oral and written. I like to include dynamic activities to make the lessons interactive and engaging. Thus, my students can actively participate :)
How I structure my lessons: we will always start from a text/dialogue/video to see the grammatical structures used in a specific context and then focus on them. In addition, we will introduce new vocabulary and do an understanding of the text read. Finally, there will always be moments of dialogue to stimulate conversation.
I also offer preparation courses for CELI, CILS and PLIDA exams (all levels).

I have been working with Astrid for a little over a year and I am incredibly impressed at the way she organizes lessons and builds a foundation for a language.
