About me

Hi! My name is Giulio, I’m 30 years old and I come from Italy 🇮🇹.

I’m a patient, direct, and motivating tutor. My lessons always adapt to your goals: we can focus on conversation, grammar, or simply on building more confidence when you speak.

I am Italian-French so I can also help with clear explanations in french when needed.

When I am not teaching, I watch anime, cook Italian dishes, and surf 🏄🏻‍♂️

I have supported more than 40 students of different ages and levels: from absolute beginners who didn’t know a single word of Italian, to advanced learners who wanted to make their conversations sound more natural.

Every student has different goals, so my lessons are always personalized: we can focus on conversation, grammar, or useful vocabulary for travel and work. I use simple and practical examples, and when needed I can also explain in English or French to make things clearer.

My goal is to create a relaxed and motivating environment where students feel comfortable and can make steady progress step by step.

Giulio is extremely clear and patient. I have been learning with him since July 2025. He has tailored the classes to be relevant to me and my level of understanding. He is professional and always makes lessons fun. I have always failed at languages in the past and I am not the fastest language learner by all means but Giulio is really helping me make lots more progress than I thought I could!

Giulio has a great ear for your mistakes and prepares individualized lessons to support your learning in a supportive way. He naturally explains the grammar and ensures you practice the foundations of what you need to reach your goals, but creates situations where you practice conversation and therefore focus on your specific improvements within your context. Giulio is a very friendly teacher, whose lessons are very well prepared, very precise, and clearly meet my expectations. He speaks French, which allows me to have more detailed explanations, and he is very attentive to his students. I am learning Italian with Babbel, but I need to complement this course with a "real" teacher, for a more effective live dialogue, in a more concrete learning situation. I am extremely happy to work with him.
