About me

Hello! My name is Filip and I’m a native Swedish speaker. I have an immense interest in languages and in language learning. I was drawn to teaching as it is a rather rewarding and dynamic compared to my previous job as translator. I have two years of experience in teaching Swedish, and I originally started off teaching face to face offline.

I have two years of teaching experience, mostly through the CLT method and Structural approach and also to some degree the direct method.

The teacher is fantastic! He creates a comfortable and friendly atmosphere in class, so you don’t have to worry about speaking or making mistakes. We constantly try to communicate in Swedish, which really helps me learn the language faster. It’s especially valuable that in class we not only learn the language, but also explore Swedish culture, history, and traditions - this makes the lessons much more engaging. The teacher is always supportive and understanding: he adapts to convenient class times, takes the workload into account, and helps structure assignments so they are manageable. It’s clear that he cares not just about “teaching” the material, but about making sure the student truly understands and enjoys the language.
