Hello, my name is Mary, I am originally from the beautiful island of Kefalonia, and I have been living in England for almost two decades. I am a theatre director and acting tutor and I am also experienced in teaching Greek as a second language. When I don't teach Greek , I tutor and deliver practical workshops as a Visiting Lecturer working for some of the UK's leading acting conservatoires or directing shows for live audiences.

I enjoy creating engaging and interactive Greek online lessons with authentic material tailored to the needs and preferences of my students, regardless of their level.

I have been trained in using new digital technology to make my sessions unique and effective.

We will use a combination of official course books and real-life material, plus my 15-year expertise in creating lessons just for you. You'll discover your Greek voice and boost your confidence.

As someone who has learned two languages myself (English and German), I understand how uninspiring it can be to have a teacher who simply lectures you when you are trying to learn a language. Therefore, my teaching style is entirely student-focused.

The ultimate aim is to comprehend your unique requirements and create an engaging, enjoyable, and effective online classroom environment for you to enhance your knowledge and progress.

We all have different learning styles, and with the resources available, language courses are no longer limited to traditional course books. My lessons will help you achieve your language learning goals, and we'll have fun along the way. I provide all the materials needed for the lessons, and my method includes functional language for real-life conversations and situations.

My background in teaching acting and my training as a vocal coach give me the skills to be able to help you with all you need to understand how to best use your own voice to speak, articulate and communicate effectively in Greek.
