Hi everyone 🌎 🌈 🌞

My name is Zena 🌟 and I am passionate about teaching German. I enjoy helping learners of all levels and ages gain fluency and confidence. My method is fun and creative, and draws not only from my current studies at Goethe Institute, but also my array of creative sidequests.

I enjoy acting, writing, art, nutritional medicine and travelling. Places that I was lucky to see so far include LA, NYC, Rome, London, Paris, Tokyo, Costa Rica, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Venice, Bulgaria and Turkey. As you can tell - I love meeting people from different countries and look forward to the next one being you!

Fun fact: I hold a bachelor degree in business, and am always intrigued by any startup endeavors. If your main goal is working in Germany, no matter the size of the corporation, I can support you with both lived work experience and knowledge of the correct business vocabularies.

I have one year of teaching experience with learners of all levels and ages from different countries. I also study for my German teaching certificate at Goethe Institute at the moment. My method is fun and engaging AND I reward mistakes - because they mean you dared to try something you were not sure of yet.

I can answer any questions about living in Germany in class, and personally lived in Bavaria, Cologne and Berlin. I also know cities like Hamburg and Bremen quite well.

My international experience allows me to make you aware of German cultural habits. The kind people born and raised in Germany like me only realize once we are abroad for a longer while. I specifically lived in Los Angeles, California, for 2 years.
