I don’t use commercial textbooks because I focus on creating personalized materials that match each student’s goals and interests. That’s why my lessons might not be the best fit for JLPT preparation. For beginners, I use a whiteboard to visually explain grammar, making it simple and easy to follow!

Mayu Sensei is nice, friendly and patient. She’s always helping me to improve my conversation skills by giving me advice on the appropriate vocabulary and grammar to use. She’s also willing to share her thoughts on the topics we discussed. I enjoy the lessons with Mayu Sensei very much.

I've had Mayu San as a Japanese teacher for a couple of months now. Her lessons are very relaxed but yet informative. She does a very good job of making sure you understand the lessons and corrects your mistakes accurately.

Hello Mayu. Thank you for always providing enjoyable lessons. Thanks to you, I have truly learned a lot so far. The lessons are always bright, easy to understand, and progress at my own pace, which makes them very enjoyable. You kindly answer my questions and clarify things I don't understand, and no matter how many times I forget the same words, you always teach me gently, for which I am truly grateful.
