And, with my background in Spanish Language & Literature and basic French, I love helping students understand Korean by comparing it with other languages

I’ve had six classes with Yuri-ssem so far and it’s been a great experience since our first trial class. Highly recommend as a beginner. She’s a really fun and engaging person and makes learning Korean fun for me as well. I tried trial classes with others on LearnZone but they didn’t vibe with me as much as Yuri-ssem. She’s very personable and approachable. What I especially like about her is that she helps you speak like a native Korean, which you can’t learn easily from textbooks or in school. She’s also non judgmental and gives positive feedback when you’re doing a good job which encourages you to learn more. She uses an organized Excel spreadsheet for her classes and gives homework to help you practice and stay on track. She’s also very welcoming of questions.
