About me

I am Jonny, I have 11 years experience teaching English to young professionals & anyone looking to improve their English grammar or Business English skills online. I am originally from Ireland, I am 26 years old and currently based in Mexico City. I am a big sports fan; football, boxing, MMA, American football, F1& especially rugby. I am also fluent in Spanish.

I like to use a mixture of conversation with exercises relevant to my student's profession or area of study. I prefer to design lessons based on my individual student's needs rather than following a "cookie cutter" program designed for generic learning. I prepare students for the Duolingo English test, IELTS, TOEFL, OET and Cambdrige exams

Jonny is very patient and also a very friendly teacher. We are studying IELTS with Jonny and I am extremely satisfied with our lessons. I definitely recommend his lessons :).

Twice the teacher canceled our first lesson without any comment. Therefore, I cannot evaluate him as a teacher, but I consider the command not polite.
