About me

As a writer myself, I love seeing an idea being put to paper eloquently and properly. Over the years I have helped numerous people with essays, short stories, and even a book which was later published. Not to mention my own essays, short stories, and writing. Studying as an English Major at Florida International University gave me the skills and practice to enhance my natural love of writing and take it from a passion to a profession. I am here for anyone who needs me and I am excited to help tutor you for all your writing needs! Let's get writing!

My tutoring style is based 100% on YOU and YOUR NEEDS. No two minds are alike and I love finding ways to help every mind learn in the way that best helps them.

For our first lesson I will need a sample of your writing to asses your natural strengths and weaknesses in writing. From there we will discuss your writing goals and the best ways to reach them. Message me for more specific information (just like our goals, the plans to reach them vary!).

I am so proud of students who were accepted into their college of choice, raised grades they thought were ruined, and even win story-writing competitions!

NOTE: I am currently looking to help teenage or adult students write and complete book and essays. If you are in college, writing a book, preparing for your SATs, anything, and need a proofreader, editor, or some constructive criticism, I'm the tutor for you!

My 12-year-old son has been having writing lessons with Ms. Samantha for more than a year now. Ms. Samantha is always very patient and encouraging when she teaches, so my son always enjoys the lessons. I have seen him improving so much in his writing skills. Ms. Samantha always responds quickly when I send her any questions or requests. Ms. Samantha also helps my son with other English skills beyond writing. Once my son had trouble with the concept of context clues in his 6th-grade ELA class. Ms. Samantha explained this concept very well to him during the lesson time and found materials for him to practice, which helped him a lot with school. I feel so lucky to have Ms. Samantha as my son’s writing teacher and I highly recommend Ms. Samantha!
