Hi there, my name is Artur.

I’m a native Russian speaker currently living in New Zealand. My life is intertwined with different cultures: I was born in Central Asia, grew up in a Russian-speaking environment, and now I’m in an English-speaking country.

I love language as a means of real communication, not just as rules from a textbook. For me, the Russian language is about culture, character, humor, emotions, and a unique way of seeing the world.

In my free time, I enjoy music, especially playing the accordion, and I’m interested in people, culture, and lively conversation.

I help both beginner and advanced students learn Russian through engaging conversation, simple explanations, and real topics.

My approach is based on natural communication. In our lessons, we talk about subjects that interest you: everyday life, travel, culture, work, hobbies, family, movies, books, or any situations where you need the Russian language.

During our conversations, I’ll notice your typical mistakes, pronunciation quirks, and learning style. After that, I’ll tailor the lesson to fit your personality, pace, and goals.

We’ll also study grammar, but not as a dry list of rules. I explain grammar only when it helps you understand Russian better and speak with more confidence.

Russian may seem complex from the outside. The grammar can look confusing, the pronunciation might be unfamiliar, and the whole language can feel quite strange for someone thinking in English or another language.

But Russian can be learned calmly, clearly, and with interest.

In my lessons, you’ll practice real Russian: simple phrases, lively conversation, pronunciation, culture, and real-life situations. My goal is to help you feel more confident and at ease, step by step.
