About me

Kind and patient, that's how I'd describe myself. But I also want to push you to be the best version of yourself.

My goal is to get you to be fluent from the beginning, enjoying every step of your journey. You'll progress and earn more vocabulary that's targeted to what you need, as well as become more confident in speaking the language in a safe environment. I work on designing a specific plan just for you, knowing what words and contexts you'll encounter more often. You'll also be able to learn about the culture and how to behave in different social contexts. What's stopping you from beginning this journey!

I've been a teacher at heart all my life, I love the look on my students' faces when they make that click in their mind, and I also love to see how my students progress over time. I'm currently finishing my university studies in music, which I apply to the learning technique taking advantage of the memory skills that can be developed through music. After all, that's how I was able to teach myself a native level of pronunciation and fluency.

I also take advantage of a wide general knowledge in geography, social studies and cultural differences I've acquired through the years, which comes in handy when helping students who want to generate vocabulary directed towards a specific topic of interest.

You'll notice my pricing is higher than average, this is because I go out of my way to work on your skills even when you're not in class. Behind the scenes, I'm often taking notes of your progress, researching material you'll enjoy and sending you additional resources to keep improving, so you can get more bang from your buck!

I suggest you book a trial lesson with me if you want to have a profound and holistic approach to the language, understanding its twists and turns through a gradual process. I'm not going to lie, mastering a language takes time, but along the way you'll discover countless moments of joy. After all, it's about the process, not the goal! :D

Mr Facundo is teaching my 15 years old daughter for her IGCSE Spanish for last couple of months. Mr Facundo is always on time with well prepared teaching materials and skills. He is such a great teacher to help my daughter’s Spanish skills and her confidence in the language. Very happy with his teaching.

Facundo is very enthusiastic and is good at using interesting games and examples in teaching. My son of 12 enjoys most of the lessons. So far, my son has attended a few hours and is able to speak some Spanish confidently.

Facundo is an amazing teacher for many reasons, but I think the most important one is that he cares. He clearly cares about me as a student and a person, and he cares about doing his job well. We were talking about our shared love of music, and he said that if I share a few of my favorite artists he would build a playlist for me in Spanish so I can listen to the language more. I expected him to return with 3-4 artists that I should check out, but instead he spent a ton of time building a THREE HOUR LONG PLAYLIST. I'm honored that he puts this much effort into me as a student, and it makes me want to put that much effort into learning the language so that his time and effort goes unwasted.
