About me
Hello, my name is Kenya. I’m a native English speaker from the United States. I’m passionate about helping learners build confidence and fluency in English. I am a certified LearnZone tutor, a former recipient of the LearnZone Super Tutor badge, and I hold a TEFL certification.
My teaching style is encouraging, patient, and goal‑oriented because I truly believe that with the right guidance and motivation, anyone can achieve their language goals.
I have over 10 years of experience teaching international students American English, including.My teaching style is supportive and goal‑focused, helping students overcome their fears and speak with confidence.
With consistent encouragement, clear feedback, and personalized coaching, students learn to trust their voice, speak more naturally, and communicate with greater confidence in everyday and professional settings.
Beyond language learning, I support students with American‑style CVs, job‑interview preparation, and college admission essays. Many of my students have earned positions at companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Amazon, and Exxon. I’ve also coached pronunciation and line‑reading for an independent film project.

To be honest, I don't have much experience with this training model, but I see great advantages.
