    About me

Hi, I'm Daim — a native Urdu speaker from Karachi Pakistan and an undergraduate in Computer Science. You might wonder what CS has to do with teaching Urdu! The answer is simple: I bring the same structured, logical thinking to language learning. Talking to people and helping them communicate and understand language is one of my passions.

Urdu is my mother tongue. I've spoken, read, and written it my entire life, which means I can teach you not just the textbook rules, but the real, natural way Urdu sounds and flows in everyday life.

I work with students of all levels complete beginners, kids, teens, adults, and heritage speakers, and I tailor every lesson to your personal goals. Whether you want to hold a conversation, read the Urdu script, or understand the language more deeply, I'm here to guide you every step of the way..

I have experience teaching Urdu informally to friends and peers, helping them improve their speaking, reading, and understanding of the language. Through this, I’ve developed the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching style based on each learner’s level and goals. Being a native Urdu speaker since birth is itself my greatest qualification. I have an instinctive understanding of how the language works its grammar, its flow, its script, and its cultural nuances in a way that no textbook can fully capture.

Let’s embark on an exciting journey to master Urdu together! I’ll make learning simple and enjoyable, tailoring each lesson just for you. With patience and support, we’ll boost your confidence and communication skills in no time. Let's achieve your goals!

Here's what you'll gain by learning with me:

🗣️ Speak naturally — not just textbook phrases, but real Urdu the way it's spoken on the streets of Karachi and Lahore

✍️ Read & write the Urdu script — from your very first lesson, we work on Nastaliq so you can read menus, signs, messages, and poetry

📚 Build solid grammar — my structured, disciplined approach means every lesson has a clear goal and you always leave having learned something concrete

🎓 Exam ready — whether it's a school Urdu paper or a language proficiency test, I'll make sure you're fully prepared

🌍 Understand the culture — language and culture go hand in hand. Learning Urdu with a native speaker means you also learn the stories, poetry, and traditions behind the words

My lessons are structured and goal-oriented — we don't waste time. Every session is planned, focused, and built around YOUR progress. You'll always know exactly where you stand and what comes next.

Don't just learn Urdu — live it.

Daim is such a chill guy to learn with. Before starting lessons on LearnZone, I sometimes used to think that it was gonna get awkward with just me and the tutor. But with him, its always fun and lessons never get boring.

I am so happy to have found Daim as my Urdu tutor. I wasn't even planning on taking classes. I just needed to ask a few things about certain poets and some specific words. But now I have ended up booking proper lessons with him. He is simply amazing and I would highly recommend him!
