About me
Translated
Hello! I'm 37 years old and from Osaka. I absolutely love talking to people, and I strive to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere in my lessons.
I've lived in Melbourne, Australia for about four years, so I can communicate in simple English. I enjoy learning languages little by little myself, and I'm currently studying Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic as hobbies. I understand the joys and challenges of learning a language, so I can provide supportive guidance that resonates with learners.
I also love traveling and have visited Korea, the Philippines, and the United States (California and Las Vegas). I'm particularly fond of theme parks, and my dream is to visit all the Disneyland parks around the world! Being from Osaka, I'm familiar with Universal Studios Japan and have also been to the Hollywood version.
I've been playing badminton since middle school and still participate in competitions. I really enjoy staying active.
As a unique experience, I attended a culinary school in Melbourne where I learned about various cuisines (I'm still studying cooking!). Additionally, I used to work as a hair and makeup artist, so I'm skilled at hair styling as well.
I love coffee and drink it often. I'm also trying to develop a reading habit and have recently started challenging myself with English books.
In my lessons, I provide careful support tailored to each individual's level and goals, from everyday conversation to practical Japanese. Let's learn together and improve your Japanese skills while having fun!
I look forward to meeting you.
While I don't have formal teaching experience, I've provided guidance to both Japanese and foreign staff in my part-time jobs. I've learned to adjust my explanations based on the other person's understanding and have experience in facilitating smooth communication.
I also have a TOEIC score of 745, which means I can communicate in basic English. My experience living in Australia has made me comfortable with cross-cultural understanding and communicating with foreigners.
Furthermore, I studied hospitality management at culinary school, which deepened my understanding of how to interact with people and communicate effectively. I want to leverage these experiences to provide attentive instruction that supports each learner.
Through my experiences living abroad and learning languages, I've realized both the joy and the challenges of learning a language. Therefore, I value providing careful support that aligns with each learner's pace while being empathetic to their feelings.
In my part-time jobs, I've guided staff, both Japanese and foreign, and have focused on clear communication and creating an environment where questions can be asked comfortably. My background in hospitality management has also helped me understand the importance of smooth communication and building trust.
In my lessons, I support learners in confidently speaking Japanese, from everyday conversation to practical usage, all while having fun. I prioritize creating an environment where it's okay to make mistakes, so beginners can feel safe participating.
Let's enjoy learning Japanese together! I look forward to meeting you.
