Hello! I'm Leonardo, 23 years old, and I'm truly passionate about the world of languages. Born in Brazil and a citizen of the world by choice, I currently live in Italy, where I study Languages for International Business at the University of Verona.

My journey with languages has taken me to live in Germany and master six languages at different levels: I'm fluent in Portuguese (my native language), English, Italian, and Spanish, and I can confidently communicate in Russian and German. This multicultural experience has given me a unique perspective on what really works when it comes to learning a new language.

My teaching experience began in a practical and diverse way. In Brazil, I worked as a private teacher of English and Math for children, which allowed me to develop a patient, creative, and tailored teaching style to meet each student's individual needs, ensuring that complex concepts were understood easily.

Additionally, I developed training and mentoring skills in my previous work environments. In both my radio experience and in customer service (like at Amorino and Eis Caffé in Germany), I was responsible for training new colleagues. This role required me to convey workflows, communication techniques, and customer service in multiple languages, adapting my explanations so that new team members felt confident and prepared quickly.

As a student of Languages for International Business in Italy and having lived in Germany, my methodology for teaching Portuguese is based on a communicative and intercultural approach. I believe that learning a language is about learning a new way to see the world. That's why I use:

Practical Connections: I leverage my experience as a polyglot to create bridges between Portuguese and the languages the student already knows (English, Italian, Spanish, etc.).

Active Learning: I focus on real-life situations and the job market.

Personalization: I adapt the pace and material according to the student's interests, whether for travel, business, or academic exams.

I'm an enthusiast of the learning process, and my goal is to make my students not only speak Portuguese but also enjoy discovering the culture and nuances of the language.

Learning a new language doesn't have to be a slow or boring process. I study day and night the most effective methods for fast and engaging language learning, testing them myself: I managed to reach B1 level in Russian, an extremely complex language distinct from my own, in just 5 months.
