Hi there!! My name is Corinna, and I was born in Italy, in the Veneto region. My passion is learning, speaking, and teaching languages. I simply love meeting people in their linguistic environment, learning their slang and the specific expressions of their culture. For me, learning a new language means first and foremost acquiring a different way of feeling and thinking, a different sensitivity, and even a different personality!

Right now, I'm traveling across America to enjoy all its cultural and linguistic richness. It will be a pleasure to help you on your journey to learn Italian (and/or Spanish, English, etc. if you wish). My goal is to teach the language through its cultural forms: music, movies, culinary culture, popular culture/memes. Of course, we can always focus on your specific interests or the reasons why you want to learn the language :) Don't hesitate to reach out!

During university, I taught English to high school students and then had fun informally teaching Italian to my friends. I focus on helping my students understand the basic grammatical and syntactic structure of a language, which we will then practice through exercises (both written and oral). Exposure to the language you want to learn is crucial: I encourage and support you to watch, read, and listen to content in the language you want to learn, and I guide you through conversations about it.

I'm a young traveler (I’d say almost a professional?), with a lot of experience in learning a foreign language from scratch. Conversation is key; we learn from our mistakes, so it's good to make plenty of them at the beginning! I'll be there to correct you, suggest improvements, and motivate you to keep your passion for learning alive. Having fun and being curious is essential!
