Hi there! My name is Irene, and I’m an Italian teacher specializing in teaching Italian to foreigners. Italian is my mother tongue and my first love.

I currently work as an Italian language assistant in Australia and have been a language tutor and teacher for over 10 years. I’m also passionate about Italian culture and its traditions, which are always present in my lessons.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, acting, and traveling, always trying to bring a bit of Italian wherever I go.

I hold the CEDILS certification (Certification in Teaching Italian to Foreigners), which qualifies me to teach Italian to non-native speakers. I integrate grammar, conversation, listening, and authentic materials to create engaging lessons.

During my master’s program in Linguistics, I delved into topics of Italian Linguistics and Teaching Italian. My academic background allows me to provide clear explanations of grammar and language structures.

I currently work in Australian schools as an Italian language assistant, where I support students in learning Italian and contribute to promoting intercultural understanding.
