Hi! I’m Carol, and I’ve been passionate about English since I was 7 years old.

I scored 1400 on the SAT and 101 on the TOEFL, and I love helping students build both confidence and real results in English.

I have one year of teaching experience as a high school math tutor, working with students between 14 and 19 years old. I was selected for this position and taught during two separate terms — one in the first half of the year and another in the second — only stopping because I graduated.

Through this experience, I developed strong skills in explaining complex concepts in a simple, structured way. I learned how to adapt my explanations depending on the student’s level, identify gaps in understanding, and build confidence step by step.

Although my tutoring experience was in mathematics, it strengthened my teaching methodology overall: I focus on clarity, logical thinking, and active practice. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, goal-oriented, and slightly challenging — but always supportive.

My strong academic background in English, including a 1400 SAT score and 101 TOEFL score, allows me to confidently teach academic English, exam preparation, and structured language development.
