About me

Hi! I’m Jason, a student at the University of Pennsylvania, born and raised in Philadelphia. I tutor Algebra, Biology, and Chemistry with a focus on helping students truly understand concepts—not just memorize formulas.

I have experience tutoring middle school and high school students through one-on-one sessions, both in person and online. My approach is structured, patient, and interactive. I break down complex topics into clear steps and adapt lessons to each student’s learning style.

I wasn’t always the “smartest” student in the classroom. Through hard work and effective study strategies, I learned how to learn—and that’s exactly what I teach my students.

Jason has been wonderful! He is really connected with my son. Who's a freshman in high school. He communicates with me (parent) and goes above and beyond to make sure that my son understands the material. He is responsive to any concerns, available to discuss needs, and has taken extra time to make sure that my son understood the material. He also was incredibly kind to help with issues that we had on the site itself. My son was starting to really disconnect and feel frustrated with math and he has a new attitude. He even look forward to tutoring with Jason, which is not something that I anticipated happening. I can't say enough good things. And... he just started tutoring, which you wouldn't guess. I'm very appreciative that we found him and would highly recommend him.
