Hello! I'm Saki.

I have always been curious about learning new things and feel true joy in stepping into something new. The words that guide my life are “challenge” and “effort.”

In the same way, I truly value supporting those who are eager to learn, take on new challenges, and grow through the process together.

I have practised judo for over 20 years, which has taught me perseverance, discipline, and the importance of steady effort in achieving long-term goals. These values also shape the way I teach.

I would be happy to support you with care, positivity, and encouragement every step of the way on your Japanese learning journey!

I have experience teaching Japanese as a volunteer and communicating in Japanese with people interested in Japan while living abroad. Through these experiences, I have developed the ability to create carefully guided lessons, starting with basic vocabulary and Hiragana, and gradually progressing to more complex grammar and sentence patterns.

I have also supported children’s learning through interactive activities and by adapting my communication to each learner. Using repetitive practice with varied approaches, along with visual and audio support, helps children learn in an engaging and focused way.

My conversational Japanese experience spans a wide range of topics, including travel, culture, social issues, and global themes. This allows us to discuss everyday life as well as professional or academic subjects, fostering your practical Japanese skills and confidence.

In my lessons, I value your curiosity and desire to learn. Even if you encounter difficulties while learning new words and phrases, I will be by your side patiently and persistently, guiding you every step of the way.
