My name is Barbara, and I've been teaching Italian for over 10 years. I've loved the Italian language since I was a child and dreamed of going to Italy when I was 15. After I made that dream come true, I realized that teaching Italian and sharing this passion with others was my calling.
In my free time, I love learning new languages: right now, I'm studying Dutch to better understand my students' experiences.
I've been teaching Italian since 2013 and have gained extensive experience in various educational settings, working with children, teenagers, and adults, both in the Italian and Uruguayan school systems. For many years, I taught at the Italian School of Montevideo. In addition to the language, I incorporated history, geography, literature, and art into my courses.
I've also collaborated with the Dante Alighieri Society and served as a CILS examiner at the Italian Cultural Institute in Montevideo. Currently, I teach Italian Language and Culture in public high schools in Uruguay.
