Hi, I’m Conrad from Germany.

I’m a passionate and student focused tutor with a strong academic background and several years of teaching experience. I used to work as a teacher for Economics, History, and Politics in Germany, and alongside that I gained extensive experience as a Math tutor during my university studies. Math has been a constant part of my teaching journey ever since.

I recently moved to Tokyo, where I now work in various tutoring and educational roles. Teaching has always been more than a job for me. It’s something I genuinely enjoy. I strongly believe that learning is fun when curiosity is encouraged and that even complex mathematical concepts can become clear and motivating with the right approach.

My lessons are highly student-centered: I adapt to your goals, your level and your learning style. Whether you need help with school math, exam preparation, or building confidence in the subject, I focus on clear explanations, practical examples, and a relaxed but structured learning atmosphere.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring new cities, learning about different cultures, and staying curious — both inside and outside the classroom.

I have four years of experience as a professional teacher and around eight years of experience as a Math tutor for students of various grade levels.

I taught for two years at Joblinge, working with young learners in the youth education sector, and for two years at Kaufmännische Schule 1 as a certified teacher for Economics and History.

In addition, I have extensive one-on-one tutoring experience in Math, which has made me highly student-focused and adaptable to different learning styles. I hold a Master of Science degree and completed the German State Examination (Staatsexamen).

With my international background, I teach confidently in English (C1/C2 level) and support students from diverse backgrounds.
