Gabriel P.

Hi there! I'm Gabriel, and I've been a philosophy teacher since 2016. I'm currently a PhD candidate in philosophy at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, with part of my doctoral studies completed in the USA. I hold a master's degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and graduated summa cum laude in philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (with an average of 9.7). I've published several articles, organized and participated in various events, and have given lectures and talks both in Brazil and abroad.

I have experience with private lessons in English and philosophy, as well as teaching philosophy classes at both private and public universities in Brazil and during my time in the USA. While I specialize in contemporary philosophy, particularly French and German perspectives in metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and political philosophy, I can also teach the general historical landscape of philosophy or specific authors. I can cover high school material or provide an introductory overview if that interests you.

I'm passionate about philosophy and believe that academic rigor should go hand in hand with the existential task of showing how this unique discipline helps us live.
