I'm a teacher with a background in mathematics. Actually, English was my strongest subject in school, and I was particularly obsessed with Western pop music and rap. I often practiced pronunciation and expressions by following along with the lyrics, and I picked up quite a bit about Western culture through the melodies.

In my free time, I love hiking through the mountains and getting lost in old books, searching for stories that have scattered through time. These hobbies allow me to bring more vibrant experiences into the classroom.

I once spent an unforgettable time with a group of lovely students in a border area. Although my major is mathematics, during that time, I explored the long river of history with the kids, discussing local cultural stories and the threads of civilization from ancient to modern times, both at home and abroad.

This experience made me love to “cross boundaries” in my classes — for instance, using mathematical logic to help students organize historical timelines or referencing rap lyrics in English to make knowledge points come alive.
