Shalom everyone! My name is Tamar, and I am an Israeli musician and cantor. I’m a big nerd of the Hebrew language and I love teaching! I offer personalized Hebrew lessons, including modern spoken Hebrew that will help you sound like a real Israeli, as well as reading, Biblical Hebrew, Ta'amei HaMikra for Torah reading, and guidance on how to approach and navigate the Jewish textual tradition.

I’ve been studying Megillat Esther trope with Tamar for over a month, and it has been such a positive experience. What started as something I wanted to do just for fun has quickly become something I could truly imagine doing in the future — even leining the Megillah one day.
