About me

Hello! My name is Dimitri. I am a native Greek and English speaker born in the United States. My father is Greek from Thessaloniki, my mother is Cypriot, and I have lived in Cyprus for 15 years. I specialize in the Greek Cypriot dialect. I lived in Brussels for four years and I speak fluent French.

I have experience teaching on the high school level and as an Educational Officer at an art museum in Cyprus.

Dimitrios is a fantastic tutor and the classes are always fun. He’s multilingual and can explain things from different linguistic perspectives. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and clear, and sometimes shares the historical background behind words (which I find very interesting)! I started Greek from scratch, and with every lesson, I really feel myself improving. Highly recommend!
