Hi there! I'm Madeline, I'm 34 years old, and I'm from the northeast of Germany, raised near the Baltic Sea. I love languages, art, and culture, and I'm excited to share this passion while you learn German. Together, we'll work on speaking more fluently, writing more clearly, and using the language in everyday life or your studies. It's important to me that you find joy in learning German, keep it, or rediscover it. Whether you're learning German as a foreign language or diving deeper into grammar, expression, and content, I know from personal experience that it can be quite challenging to express yourself confidently, but we can overcome these hurdles together. Step by step, without pressure, but with clear progress! 😀

In my free time, I enjoy art, music, reading, and taking walks in nature. This creative side also flows into my lessons to make learning lively and varied. I'm also actively learning languages myself, so I really want to improve my English (currently at B2) and have been learning my beloved language, Japanese, for some time now.

I've been working as a tutor for over five years and lead workshops in artistic adult education. My teaching methodology is personalized, practical, and creative; I tailor each lesson to the level and goals of my students. I support children, teenagers, and adults in learning German, both as a foreign language and in dealing with grammar, expression, and text comprehension in school.

I studied history, linguistics, and fine arts (Leipzig, Greifswald, Hamburg). I place special emphasis on the practical application of the language, targeted practice of vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, as well as creative methods to keep the learning process engaging.
