Hello! My name is Curt, from the United States! I have lived in China and Korea for 3 years and 1.5 years respectively, and I am fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) while I know a little bit of Korean as well. I used to work in a Chinese glass manufacturer, as their Quality Manager, but left to pursue other things, namely teaching! I love breaking down difficult topics in ways that are easier to understand, and if I can make a game of it, even better!

I lived in China for a little more than 3 years, and while I was there I taught in Tianjin #4 Middle School as well as Tianjin Independent Middle School, as a foreign English teacher. I still keep in contact with several of my students who have been very successful in their lives. While in Korea, I also taught in 2 different English academies, teaching Preschool to elementary school ages.

I hope to use Tabletop Role Playing Games (TTRPG) to teach you English, while also teaching you my favorite hobby! Sometimes putting yourself in the mind of another character can help you expand your thinking, and forget the nerves that might slow you down when you're only answering for yourself.
