Hi :) I’m Katharina, a 26-year-old language instructor from Austria. I have been studying English and Spanish as part of a teacher training program, and I also completed a training program as a German language instructor at the Goethe Institute. I’m passionate about traveling, languages, reading, cooking, outdoor sports, crafting, and gardening – basically anything that keeps me curious and busy.

I’ve always been deeply interested in languages and cultures, which is why I’m still an enthusiastic language learner today. Over time, I’ve become very familiar with both the challenges and the rewarding moments that come with learning a new language.

As a teacher, I’m defined by patience, motivation, and a good sense of humor – creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where learning feels natural.

Coming from western Austria, I’m very familiar with different varieties of German: Standard German, regional Austrian dialects, and Swiss German. I enjoy bringing this linguistic diversity into the classroom.

My lessons combine all essential aspects – speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural insights – but always with a learner-centered approach. I tailor each session to your personal goals and emphasize communicative practice, because authentic and confident communication is what truly matters when learning a language.
