👋 Hi there! I'm Ayane. I’m from Japan and spent a year in Melbourne, Australia on a working holiday after graduating from university 🦘🐨. Now, I've returned and live in Kanagawa, right next to Tokyo 🗾.

I lived near the beach in Shonan, Japan, so I ride my bike to the beach in summer. I’m still a beginner, but I also surf!

I played drums in the light music club for three years in high school! Because of that, I love rock music from the 60s to 80s! I can play some chords on the acoustic guitar too. Sometimes I perform at church services and gatherings.

I don’t have formal teaching experience, but I’ve taught daily conversation in Japanese to foreign friends and practiced Japanese with international students. As a native speaker, I’ll share natural Japanese and Japanese culture in a fun way. I’ll gently support beginners so you can learn with confidence.
