👋 Hi there! I'm Ayane. I’m from Japan and spent a year in Melbourne, Australia on a working holiday after graduating from university 🦘🐨. Now, I've returned and live in Kanagawa, right next to Tokyo 🗾.

    🌏 Recommended for:

    - Those who want to start learning Japanese from scratch

    - Those who want to practice simple conversations for a trip to Japan

    - Those who want to speak natural Japanese with a native speaker

🏍️ I love talking about hobbies!

    Here are some of mine:

    - Riding motorcycles 🏍️

My beloved bikes are the Suzuki Vorty250 and Intruder VL250!

    - Watching theater 🎭

I studied theater dance in college! I aspire to become a stage director in the future!

    - Watching anime 📺

If there are phrases from anime you want to learn, I’ll prepare for them!

    - Reading manga and books 📚

I often read mystery and serious genres. I’m also slowly reading Shakespeare’s plays!

    - Traveling abroad ✈️

I’ve been to the USA (Ohio), Canada (Yellowknife), Singapore, the UK (London, Stratford-upon-Avon), and Australia (Sydney, Tamworth, Melbourne)!

    - Taking photos with my DSLR 📸

I can’t go on a trip without my camera! Sometimes I also do portrait photography for friends!

    - Interacting with budgies and parrots 🐦

I used to have three budgies and one cockatiel!

    - Playing in the ocean 🌊

I lived near the beach in Shonan, Japan, so I ride my bike to the beach in summer. I’m still a beginner, but I also surf!

    - Playing instruments 🥁

I played drums in the light music club for three years in high school! Because of that, I love rock music from the 60s to 80s! I can play some chords on the acoustic guitar too. Sometimes I perform at church services and gatherings.

    And so much more!

I’m interested in all sorts of things! I’d love to hear about your hobbies too! 😊

Example 4: For those who just want to chat! 💬🗨️

    - Free talk

Especially if we share hobbies, let’s chat a lot and get excited about our interests! We can do free talk for the entire lesson if you’d like!

🐨 After the lesson, I’ll summarize the day’s content and send it to you as a PDF for review, so no need to buy materials!

Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together! ✨

I don’t have formal teaching experience, but I’ve taught daily conversation in Japanese to foreign friends and practiced Japanese with international students. As a native speaker, I’ll share natural Japanese and Japanese culture in a fun way. I’ll gently support beginners so you can learn with confidence.

How about we start with a trial lesson and chat in Japanese together? Beginners are very welcome! It’s okay to make mistakes 😊. I made a lot of mistakes at first too, but thanks to patient friends who listened, I gradually became able to speak English. I hope to be that kind of friend for you.

Let’s practice Japanese in a relaxed and fun atmosphere! ✨

I really enjoy the lessons from Ayane. The lessons has a good mixture of everything with free talk, listening practice, grammar structure, creating sentences, and reading practice. Lessons are well organized and has a good flow from start to finish. I'm learning new things each lesson which helps me with my self study in between lessons.

Best tutor I’ve ever had! The material is laid out well. No connection issues with the internet. she is always professional and she takes her job seriously. She is good at teaching me grammar! I’m getting more answers right gradually and she explains the material very well. When I have questions she explains thoroughly. Recommend her for all levels. She will adjust to your learning needs and help you where you need improvement, or where you prefer. She speaks English very well.

Ayane's classes are very systematic! Not only can I practice free talking, but I can also learn kanji reading and words that locals often use which are not in the textbook. The classes are conducted in a way that the student wants, so I can keep enjoying learning Japanese.

Ayane is the greatest! She takes my learning goals into consideration and creates custom content; just for me. She has a friendly yet professional approach that allows the student to safely experiment with new concepts and ideas whilst maintaining a focus on correct and understandable Japanese. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this teacher due to a lack of professionalism and organization. The lesson was canceled exactly at the start time due to "technical issues," even though the student is required to prepare in advance. Then, the date was unilaterally changed without my consent, which led to additional confusion and wasted time. In total, I spent several hours trying to clarify the situation, which did not lead to any reasonable solution. I expected accountability, communication, and respect for my time – unfortunately, this was lacking.

So kind, helpful and patient. She is also very encouraging, I really recommend her especially if you are a complete beginner like me or any level too! I feel really comfortable to make mistakes and ask questions, also she listened to my learning needs (like making quizzes and homework). Ive had a previous tutor for japanese but I really prefer Ayane’s teaching style more xx
