Hello! My name is Danae and I’m a Greek language teacher with a passion for communication, culture, and the art of teaching. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language and a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

For the past ten years, I’ve been teaching children aged 6–12 in primary school, helping them discover the beauty of the Greek language and develop their confidence in expressing themselves. Over the last two years, I’ve also been teaching Greek to adults from various backgrounds, an experience that has enriched my perspective and deepened my love for language teaching.

My lessons are shaped by both my pedagogical background and my genuine enthusiasm for helping learners connect with the language in meaningful ways. Outside the classroom, I love reading literature, dancing, traveling, and spending time in nature.

I am a qualified Greek language teacher with a Master’s degree in Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. I have ten years of experience teaching children in primary school and two years of experience teaching Greek to adult learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

My professional background in pedagogy allows me to design lessons that are structured, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs. In my current position at a primary school, I teach Greek as a second language to students aged 6–12, focusing on communication skills, vocabulary development, and cultural awareness. At the same time, I offer private lessons for adults who wish to learn Greek for travel, work, or personal enrichment.

My teaching methodology is communicative and learner-centered. I combine interactive activities, authentic materials, and clear explanations of grammar and syntax to help learners use Greek confidently in real-life situations. I also incorporate literature, music, and cultural references to make the learning experience more immersive and enjoyable.

I believe that language learning is not only about mastering words and rules but also about connecting with people, stories, and ways of seeing the world. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and grow at their own pace
